    Gravatar (Globally Recognized Avatars) has been acquired by Automattic. Changes to Gravatar over the past few days :

    Automattic transferred the Rails application and most of the avatar serving to WordPress.com infrastructure and servers.
    Avatar serving is now more than three times as fast, and works every time.

    It was six years ago, on this very day, that the iPod was officially brought into the world at a Steve Jobs Special Event. Over the past six years, the iPod has reduced in size and increased in capacity as hard-disk technology progressed.

    Absolute Linux 12.1.0 beta 1 released

    Beta version of Absolute Linux 12.1.0  has been released. It is based on Slackware Linux distribution. It includes support to early Intel Pentium CPUs, meaning  you coluld install it on an old Intel Pentium-1 / AMD K6-2 machine. But, you would need at least 48MB of RAM.

    Google docs for your mobile

    Google docs users can now view their docs on the move.
    This compact version of GoogleDocs will neatly show up on your cell phone display. Documents opens up as a text page, while spreadsheets can either be viewed in HTML or be downloaded in XLS format.
