Two new plans have been introduced by BSNL India.
Home 500 C and Home 500 C+
These plans include phone rental. Earlier the rental-free plan was only with 900 UL.
Difference of both plans is in data transfer, ie. Combo 500 [1.5 GB limit] is meant for low internet usage people whereas Combo 500 + [2.5 GB limit] is meant for comparatively high internet using people with minimal usage of calls.

I am very sorry for Mr. FREDS, who has adopted 250 Plan. Mr. Freds, please start depositing huge amount by the end of this month so as to enable urself to pay the internet bill!
Even after getting approval for 500 Plan, you will have to pay more and more (if u continue to use video chat for such a long duration).
I am wating for your comment that i expect to get by the end of Aug. when u receive ur BSNL bill!!!

have it or not.
can any1 tell about the whole billing wch i ll get after installation,
with WLL connection i get full speed, ie 144kbps offered by Service, but had probs to use it 24×7 as you knw itz dialup n ma phone getz engaged.

But i am getting only 30 kbps as my data transfer rate.. but they have assuared it as 256 kbps as minimum in the notes and maximum of 2 mbps.. but not getting that at any time.. please help me.. me is doing my project and data rate is important for me please…

750 UL is limited to 256kbps and you shall not receive upto 2Mbps with the 750UL/750UL+ plans.
Also, I am unaware if a method exists by which you can request a plan change online. You may have to go to the main BSNL offics in your area and submit a written request..

You’ll have to go to the main office (not your local exchange) with a written request. A change of plan will be done in 1-4 days.

I had checked my portal on May 3rd and it was showing that my plan has been changed to Home 759 Unlimited. I had even confirmed the same from the local BSNL exchange. They told me that my plan has been changed to unlimited and the billing would be effective from May 1st 2008.
Where can I find the email addresses of the BSNL authorities for following this up?
