    Microsoft to invest $240 million for a 1.6 percent stake in Facebook

    Microsoft just announced that it would invest $240 million for a 1.6 percent stake in Facebook. The social networking site is now valued at $15 billion.

    Automattic acquires GRAVATAR

    Gravatar (Globally Recognized Avatars) has been acquired by Automattic. Changes to Gravatar over the past few days :

    Automattic transferred the Rails application and most of the avatar serving to WordPress.com infrastructure and servers.
