    Facebook now allows limited public searching of users profiles without being logged in or even registering. Soon, it would be possible for search engines to index your limited profile. Results will be limited to name and profile picture.

    Facebook users who do not wish to be visible in public searches can adjust their privacy settings on the Search Privacy page. You can further limit your visibility to only certain networks, friends etc..
