God of War: Chains of Olympus wouldn’t make the holiday season, it’s developer, ‘Ready At Dawn’ officially confirmed to GameSpot that the release date is now March 4, 2008.
God of War: Chains of Olympus has not yet been priced or rated. However, given the Greek mythology-inspired series’ ultra violent nature, an M-for-Mature rating is almost assured.
At the end of September, those who signed up for the game’s demo earlier this year on the game’s official Web site will receive a special-edition demo UMD containing a portion of a playable level as well as additional content, including a behind-the-scenes video of the game’s development. A standard demo UMD, featuring only the level portion, will be available later in the year. But that’s small consolation for the PSP, which was already hurting for software.
