Any Mobile or landline subscriber who does not wish to receive telemarketing calls, can request their telephone number be included in the NDNC Registry. Such request are sent through their telecom service providers which will be stored in National Do Not Call Registry, which is expected to be established from Sept. 2007. For other customers who would like to register/de-register their request for NDNC registry may dial 1909 or SMS to 1909 with keywords ‘START DND‘ for registration and ‘STOP DND’ for de-registration. Telephone calls/SMSs to this number are FREE of cost.
