You have a link on your blog like
http://blogulate.com/content/category/money-makers/
but when the user clicks on it, it will transform into
http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?http://blogulate.com/...
In the same time, when a Search-Engine bot like Google visits your page it will not trigger the JavaScript event, because they are not JavaScript-aware: and in this way you “Alexa-Rating boosting efforts” will not mess your Google rating and search results positions.

I never used it coz i was concerned of the same thing .. I think this one’s different.. the link remains the same, unless a mouse click event occurs.. I’m using it right now.
When you right click and copy the link, it’s the normal one, but when you click on a link [internal links only] , the JS turns it into the alexa redirect.
Anyways,even im not sure… im just trying it out. It looked safe to me
I have heard that this plugin can effect your search engine rankings, not sure although.
