  • Download youtube videos from Firefox – UnPlug

I’ve been using Video Ook! Addon so far for downloading YouTubes and it has apparently stopped working.

UnPlug is another add-on for Firefox that allows us to download YouTube Videos.

UnPlug scans web pages and tells you where media players are getting their data from, and displays it as a simple hyperlink: in most cases, you can then follow the simple download link to save the media file.

UnPlug works for lots of sites including youtube.com, ifilm.com, current.tv, revver.com, peekvid.com, video.google.com, mobuzztv.com and lots, lots more.

Unlike many other extensions, UnPlug scans the page, and if it doesn’t know where the data comes from it can guess – correctly most of the time.

It worked flawlessly for me. After installing, the UnPlug fishy thigy :D will appear after the search tab on the Navigation Toolbar. Click on it to view links. Click Save to save to HDD.

I feel like a complete blank. Eh. I haven’t gotten anything done these days. More or less nothing seems worth bothering with. Not much on my mind lately. Shrug.,

That’s an excellent plugin. An excellent find. Now, all we have to do is find some quality tube videos to watch. :) I do have a few, and I’m going to install the plugin now. Thanks a lot.
